If you look at internet pictures of the room and lobby, you'll wonder if you are in the same hotel when you get there. The front desk staff is very friendly. When you leave the hotel you have to leave the key at the front desk. If you are claustrophobic, you won't like the elevator, very cramped and only goes to the fifth floor, don't get a room on the 6th, no windows! The location tends to be noisy as it is close to a major transfer point for subways.
Maid service is pathetic at best. Each night when we did our sightseeing and came back to freshen up, no towels, no toilet paper, no coffee, no cups etc. always had to go to the front desk and ask for what would should have been in the room in the first place each day. We had a group of nine in 3 rooms, at check out, we all had mini bar charges added on, though we never touched the mini bars. The rooms have no clock or radio and TV is 6 channels, all french. There is a small closet in the room, no shelving or dresser in rooms, so gets quite cramped with luggage since rooms are very small.
