We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in Oct.2007. Very good location (Metro station very close - Saint George), close to Sacre Coeur and small shops around the corner.

The room - newly refurbished, very minimalist style, no curtain nets, no wardrobe (!!), TV (French TV only and CNN). Comfortable big bed (dbl room). Generally nice.

Bathroom - very nice, warm, no shower curtain, but a bath (see photo).

The hotel in general - very clean and tidy. The staff helpful, english speaking. We would recommend this hotel for short stay but not for honeymoon.

Tea price at hotel bar - 3 Euro.
Breakfast - 9 Euro, small portions, two types of jam, tiny bread, orange juice, tea or coffee. You can get cheaper (6 Euro) breakfast in nearby restaurans.

I just got back from a stay at this hotel and it was great. It is very conveniently located within a 3 minute walk of the Saint Georges metro stop. I had room 502 which was was very cutely (yet simply) decorated. This room even has a view of the Eiffel Tower - how amazing. The room was not huge, but very spacious for my needs. the bathroom was a good size and in perfect working condition. The room and bathroom were very clean and the staff was wonderful. They were always available and willing to help and answer questions, give recommendations. There is computer in the lobby which you can use for free - but the keyboard is not an American keyboard, which made typing a bit of a challenge. I would definately go back to this hotel and would recommend it to others.

We felt as though we were staying in someone's Grandma's house. The furniture looked like it had been donated to them. We didn't even want to hang anything in the wardrobe it looked riddled with woodworm. There was no hand basin the the wc, you had to pass through the bedroom to get to the bathroom to wash your hands. Only one glass and plate provided in a triple room.

On a positive , the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable, thought it was a little overpriced for what it was. Perhaps when it has been totally reurbished it may well be worth it.

We managed to move after the first night to a nicer , cheaper hotel closer to all centre and which included breakfast.

A very friendly and accomodating hotel.The staff were ultra helpful and available at all times. Convenient location, easy to reach tube minutes away.Quiet location, yet minutes away from the lively Monmartre area. Free internet access.
The only downside was the bathroom. Couldn't bring myself to have a bath as it was peeling! grotty but it was very clean. The triple room was a spacious suite and split into two rooms. Worth the money.
The hotel is slowly being refurbished and the 2nd floor room below us was great.
Lots of fab patisseries and restaurants. Loved the Mini Bus Restaurant a little expensive but tasty french food.Didn't use breakfast option as there's so many lovely cafes offering petit dejeuner in the area.Highly recommend Le Coquelicot in Abbesse.
