Very nice hotel. Good location. The rooms were spotless and the staff were very very friendly people. I loved the Sofitel!

I stayed at the Sofitel for a week while on a business trip. The room was beautiful, including a comfortable bed and flat screen TV. The hotel, while very nice, does n ot have much of a unique personality.

We struggled, like other reviews stated, to find the hotel. We could see it but the roads were confusing leading up to it. Also, I had requested a non-smoking room and they were unable to fulfill it. That said, the smoke smell was not prevalent and it didn't bother me during my stay.

It is connected thru the parking garage to a large mall, including a supermarket and wine shop. It is also within easy walking distance of the Comedie (city center) with lovely shops and restaurants.

The comfort room is a bit small, but the bed is really good for sleep.
Unfortunately, we had some problems with the staff not so friendly for a 4 star hotel! Sometimes is better a 2* hotel...
22 Euros is really expensive for a standard breakfast.

Picked the Sofitel for our stay in Montpellier because it seems to be the best. It is nice and the personnel were all very helpful. But the room was small and they said all the rooms were the same size. It was like a cruise ship cabin! There is a lovely restaurant/bar/swimming pool/spa on the roof and the breakfast buffet was very nice (it was inclued in our room rate thank goodness - not sure if it would have been worth the price otherwise). Nice amenities.
