Modern property, perfectly located on a quiet side street just off Place Wilson, a short hop to Place du Capitole. Being right in central Toulouse, there are plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants all around. The airport shuttle bus stops right next to Place Wilson, on Boulevard Jean Jaures. The train station is an easy 20 minute walk from the hotel, perfect for a day trip to Carcassonne (50 minutes by TER).

Our room was a comfortable size, bright and airy, nicely decorated in a simple, rather corporate, almost minimalist style (those looking for French chic, look elsewhere), complete with air con, mini bar, and satellite TV with plenty of international channels. No safe in the room though. The bath was somewhat small but well appointed, with hair dryer and some basic complimentary toiletries.

Buffet breakfast was good. Lots to choose from, including cereal, yoghurt, cheese, fruit, cold and hot meats, eggs (scrambled or boiled), pastries, various sorts of bread (French, of course), fruit juice, and chocolate, tea or coffee. Definitely something to look forward to first thing in the morning.

We would definitely stay at the Saint-Georges again.

The St George Mercure has friendly and helpful check-in staff. Rooms are quiet, clean and tidy- decor etc. about right for a 3 star hotel. Breakfast buffet OK, includes wide range of cold food, limited range of hot food. Many restaurants, shopping centre and supermarket within walking distance.

An easy location to reach. Take airport bus to the Jean Juares stop, then walk 3-4 blocks. In a very quiet section, but only 5 minute walk to main plaza. When exiting hotel, turn left & bear to the right 2 blocks & you will find a lovely square surrounding by nice local restaurants & the ever-present carousel. Very neighborhood in atmosphere & not touristy. Spotlessly clean, like all Mercure Hotels & solid 3 star.

Find the hotel was not so easy as so many work in the all district was in progress. After parking the car into the parking lot not belonging to the hotel (12.5e the night) we had to carry on our bags among the pavement then on the street to reach the entrance of the hotel. Large and modern lobby, friendly check in by a young trainee who upgrade us into a suite as i was with 2 teenagers. This suite was confortable and well appointed following the new standart of the chain; buffet breakfast (14e) but free for those under 16, was good and enough.
Location was ideal, centrally placed, but away from the noisy crowds.
