My wife and I stayed in a 2nd floor corner room with one side facing the cathedral. We paid 60 Euros/night for the room. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful when they were available. We arrived on a Sunday which can be difficult since the hotel is minimally manned on that day.
Our room was relatively small by U.S. standards and I think average by European standards. Previous commenters made reference to the lighting of the cathedral. Indeed it occurs and it is extremely bright. For a minute I thought I was above the Arctic circle but the hotel installed very heavy light tight curtains. They kept the light out very well.
The room was a little spartan in decor but I guess I'd have to say that I wasn't there to go sightseeing in the room. I did notice that there is no air handling of any type for the room I was in so if someone were to stay in the summer, it might be a little uncomfortable. But since we were there in February, it was just fine.
Would I recommend this hotel to someone else? Sure but with the caveat that it would be best during the winter months.
