The B&B is wonderful. We were on the top floor with the small deck, which had great views to enjoy. The hotel restaurant is AMAZING! Tomas and Arjwan are extremely helpful and accommodating. The square is lively with restaurants, locals and kids. We unfortunately weren’t around when the jazz club was open, but we enjoyed the square and wandering the streets of Haut de Cagnes, the upper part of the town. Now, the warnings…if you stay in the top room, be ready to climb some steep, winding steps. The spiral stairs aren’t the easiest to maneuver, especially with luggage, but it’s worth it. Also, the top room has very sloped ceilings. Even if you’re very aware of the ceiling, you still can’t help to bump your head. No matter how careful we were, we kept doing it! Finally, if you are driving to the hotel, good luck! The curvy, very steep roads were pretty scary, and hard to get around. We were lucky enough to find a parking space practically in front of the hotel and we didn’t move the car the whole time there. We took the train to Nice, which was easy to do. We walked down to the central and coastal area of Cagnes, which was easy. But at the end of the day, we took the shuttle back up, which was much easier than walking up. All in all, we definitely recommend this hotel, but just make sure you know what you’re getting into!
