Stayed at the Hotel Paris after we found the hotel in the Chateaux and Hotel book. The hotel is a member of that organisation. Booked a superior room. The welcome was friendly but the room a big disapointment. The room turned out to be a strandard double room with a small balcony facing one of the main roads through Cannes. In addition to that the rail track was running a few meters away from our room. Of course no one told us this when booking and it is not written anywhere. The answer we got when mentioning our disapointment at the front desk was that it was double glazed and the room had a/c.
We had to stay the two nights we booked as it was too late to cancell. Later we moved to a much better hotel, closer to the bech and we payed less. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel as Cannes is full of good hotels.
