First of all the service was not normally bad. The woman at the front desk, was not nice from the beggining. I was travelling with my wife on our honeymoon and we were expecting the normal golden tulip excellent expereince. They charge you for breakfest, parking and for internet use - this is somewhat common but not resortish. The noise level was so bad they could wake up a dead person at 8 in the morn. They also have no fridges in the rooms even for a fee. The pool and grounds are tiny and next to a train. But the worst part was the fact that even though i left the DO NOT DISTURB SIGN out they entered our room, WENT THROUGH ALL OF OUR BAGS, and then had the audacity to leave us a note in the room that we shouldnt eat there!

Nice hotel, quaint inside. Good location for shopping and beach, about a ten minute walk. We had a junior suite which I would not recommend because the bathroom was downstairs and wardrobe downstairs, no room upstairs where you just had the bed and you know the old warm air rises thing! The A/C was fine downstairs but you hardly felt it upstairs so you had to leave it on all night whether you liked the noise of it or not.

Great hotel - just off the main shopping street - i was in cannes on business so didn't get to do much exploring. great staff - nice rooms - great atmosphere - no restaurant but lots of great places to eat nearby.

The hotel location is not perfect, close to a big road with some noise but just a 10-minute walking distance to the beach. The inside is clean and with nice, quiet and cool room, we had the deluxe version. The room had a small balcony overlooking the neighbourhood where you could cool off after the sun moved away. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool area was nice but had a glass security fence that made it a bit closed up. The parking garage was a few blocks off and had very small spaces.
