I was there for the Cannes advertising Festival. And as a person working in advertising you can imagion ive travelled along quit a lot. But this was probably the worst place and the worst staff i ever run into. Please take my advise and don't go there. Everyting is wrong overthere, i can't even start to discribe it becaues it would take me hours.

This will sum it up: When i asked for a complaintform they said they were out of stock!

This is the longer version: If you write a review you are not allowed to write threats or personal insults. And that is a pitty because that is excactly how i feel after staying at the gray d'Albion in Cannes. It was very, very bad. it was a ruine. everything was broken or dirty. And than i was not even in my room. In my room It was raining because of a leaking air conditioner. There was fungus on the walls. it was smelling like a forgotten mop. Anyway, ive been asking for a better room day after day and all they told me was "zsorry zsir, we cant dsoe nothzing fur you szir"
I've been exploding with angry for more than 8 nights it was hell and when i checked out i heart do could not give me any discount.
we are talking about 425 euro rooms here. i have to stop writing nnow because i can't keep myself from insulting anymore now.

It is a old fashioned type of hotel, must have been "fashionable" and very "luxurious" in the 70's... nowdays it is a convenient location, and a decent offer if you are prepared for some "dusty" details - like carpets, furniture, etc...
High speed wireless internet worked fine (but expensive 30euros for 10hours)...
2 minutes away from beach and congress center
Very good staff. Breakfast is very poor in terms of choice

the only big problem i had was the lack of internet. the hotel staff worked hard to fix it but it never wound up working. i had to go down to the lobby to get internet access for 5 days! everything else was beautiful.
CAUTION! no internet in the top floor suites!
