“Very enjoyable”

Eza Vista

We had five nights at Eza Vista and we really enjoyed our stay. Our two-bed apartment was very spacious and our balcony had lovely views of the sea. The staff were fantastic and helped us in any way they could. Two small negatives were the pool wasnt heated and the noise of road traffic from the pool/terrace was sometimes a bit annoying. But overall we were impressed with the place. The best bit about staying here was being so near to the old village of Eze which is very cosy and romantic, with lovely views and restaurants. We will definitely return!

Dear Elizabeth79,
We would like to thank you for this review over your stay at Eza Vista and we value both your positive and negative feedback to help us improve our service and facilities. Some of the main assets of our residence are very spacious apartments with balconies facing the sea and view over the medieval village of Eze. We are sorry if the temperature of the pool was not at your convenience. It is true that it is not heated, so it depends on the outside temperature and the sun. This is why we only open it during the months of May to September, although the water can still be a bit cool in May, June or again in September depending on the customers’ origin or expectations. We would be glad to welcome you again to Eza Vista in the near future.

“Fantastic apartment!”

Eza Vista

My husband and I booked a 6 person apartment here for three nights at the end of April as we were travelling with another couple and needed to have two separate bedrooms. We were extremely impressed with the Eza Vista - the apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed and was very clean and comfy. All apartments appeared to have a sea view and balcony.

The location is quite good for visiting both Monaco and Nice - about 10 mins drive to the centre of Monaco and about 30 mins drive to Nice. Eze itself was also a fantastic place to visit - a walk up the hill to the castle is well worthwhile. We tried out two of the local restaurants in Eze as well and both were very good.

All in all this was a fantastic place to stay and great value compared to the cost of hotels in Monaco.

“Great for families”

Eza Vista

We rented a one bedroom apartment for three nights and thought the accommodations were great. We were traveling with our two young daughters and it met our needs well. The hotel is within an easy drive to both Nice and Monaco, and offers amazing views of the castle and the coast. I would highly recommend this location to other families who prefer a little more space (ie: kitchenette, separate bedroom, etc.) when traveling.
I would avoid the hotel breakfast because it isn't a great value and the bakery next door to the hotel is great. Don't miss walking up to the castle. Picture perfect if a little touristy.

We thank you for this review over your stay at Eza Vista and value both your positive and negative feedback as it help us improve our services. Its location facing the sea halfway between Nice and Monaco (7 km) and its spacious apartments are the main assets of our hotel residence. Concerning our continental breakfast we improve it regularly by offering a large choice of juices, hot drinks (tea, coffee, chocolate), cereals, French pastry, bread, cheese spread, stewed fruit, marmalade etc. Of course, the equipments of our apartments and the bakery and supermarket next door offer the possibility for self-sufficiency and to prepare your breakfast as you like it. We would like to welcome you again to Eza Vista.

“A peaceful, unusual place to stay”

Eza Vista

Feb 17, 2007

If you want peace and quiet in a new, modern property then this is the place for you. My partner and I stayed 2 nights in a one bedroom apartment (which could accomodate up to 4 persons including a double sofa bed). Everything was new and clean. Our room enjoyed a balcony and two patio doors out onto our own private south facing sun terrace. We were right next to the pool and the sun deck. Wonderful views across the hillside and overlooking the coastline beyond. The room was equipped with a good quality bathroom with separate toilet and a kitchenette with hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and crockery, cutlery pots, pans etc. It's right in the heart of Eze village and in walking distance of the local restaurants and the quaint old town - a must see. We had a car (essential) so trips to Monte Carlo (20 mins) and Nice (20 mins) were straightforward. There was no bar or restaurant in the property and the breakfast comprised of french bread, croissants, cornflakes and juice so we would recomend breakfast in the local cafe. There's a bakers right next door and we bought delicious breakfast food there. The property is unstaffed at night but security throughout was of a high standard. We enjoyed our stay and would use the property again as a base for exploring the surrounding area.

“Liked Eza Vista very much!”

Eza Vista

5 of 5 stars
Espoo, Finland

10/10 found this review helpful

We stayed at Eza Vista for 2 nights in Dec. 2006 just before New Year's eve.

We had booked a studio but changed to an apartment. The studio had a large sofa bed which we should have opened ourselves to get our bed in the evening. We did not want to do that so we asked for a room with real bed. Then we were given the only available room which was very good, two bedrooms and a large living room / eating room with a big yard. We had to pay the price for the bigger room but we did not mind as it was just additional EUR 25 / night for a much nicer room.

The room was very clean, it had two toilets and a brilliant bath room (we took some bubble baths with the high quality bath gels provided by the hotel)!

The kitchen is equipped with ARISTON dish washer, micro wave oven / grill and electric oven as well as good tableware and coffee and water machine and toaster. You can easily do all your cooking yourselves at Eza Vista, if you want. The kitchen even had one dish washer tablet which was adequate for us.

The living room has THOMPSON flat screen TV with app. 15 channels and a glass table.

The terrace and yard were great, even though the yard is common with other rooms in the same floor (your neighbours can freely walk through your yard but we did not see anyone do it, except the guardener).

The service at the reception was absolutely great (greetings to the young lady who was so nice to us all the time, guiding us to La Turbie for magazine shopping in the evening and to the beautiful hiking route down to Eze Bord du Mer!).

Eza Vista is very modern, new, spacious and clean and I enjoyed the decoration very much - the red lamps in the living room gave a very relaxing and romantic tone to the apartment in the evenings!

If you don't have the extra money to stay at Chevre d'Or (the most exclusive and expensive hotel inside the old Eze Village), it is definitely a great idea to stay at Eza Vista!

Dear Finnish female,
We would like to thank you for your positive feedback concerning your stay at our hotel residence Eza Vista helping us to improve our services and facilities. We are happy that you enjoyed our location and equipments in the apartment. Concerning our studios it is true that they are currently equipped with a double sofa bed. We carefully mention this in all descriptions in order for our customers to reserve the most appropriate apartment to their needs. The advantage of the sofa beds is that they are very recent as we opened in 2006 and that they can be folded away in order to make way for some guests or to change the atmosphere. We are about to work out a solution of replacement of these sofa beds (e.g. folding beds) in order to improve the comfort by maintaining modularity. The two bedroom apartment with real beds met your expectations and as you mentioned the price difference between the apartment categories is often low for a more comfortable and spacious apartment. We would be happy to welcome you again to Eza Vista.
