The hotel is located in a very nice area, at the entrance to the old town, which is a pedestrian area only, and in which there are at least five nice restaurants (we dined in three of them, very good). The hotel itself is ok, the view from the bay of Cannes is nothing spectacular, but our room was of very decent size and very clean. The public areas are modest in size and simply decorated, the restaurant serves large tasty pizzas (USA size), and it is not cheap. The hotel is, at the time of this writing, no longer a bargain (specially in US dollars). As a base for the Riviera is good, if you decide to tackle the traffic and have a car. The hotel has private parking at no charge, which is definitely a plus. Overall was a satisfying stay, but by no means I would rate it as high as some of the previous postings in this site.
