Touring France by motorbike - hotel not booked so pleased we could get a room in such a busy popular area. Friendly welcome and nice looking dining area with balcony. The room however was a different story.....
The room we were allocated was very small, dark & dingy and badly in need of re-docoration. One of the main problems in the room was that it was dominated by a large flat screen tv which stuck out into the main area on a wall bracket - you had to duck under it to get to one side of the bed and into the bathroom.
The double bed was comfortable and the linen clean (if old fashioned). The floor was wooden and had some large gaps in it. There was a small fridge with a couple of complimentary soft drinks in. Unfortunately the bathroom was in a very poor state - the bath old and stained - the tiles dirty and no shower curtain - leaving the floor flooded after we had both had a shower. Towels were thin and worn. Soaps etc were provided but there was not a hairdryer.
The price we paid did not reflect the quality of the facilities available.
