I had booked into Hotel LePante in Nice France on February 18th, 2008. I had stayed at this location for six nights. The room was small as was to be expected. The room appeared to be somewhat clean. On my last day I discovered that I had gotten body lice from the bedding in the room. This is the only place that it could have happened to me during my trip. I was outraged! I have emailed and tried to get answers from the hotel on three occasions, with no response from them.

I would avoid this dirty hotel due to unwanted body critters.

I came to this hotel with about 12 other friends for my bet friends hen weekend. This wasnt a luxurious hotel but then we didnt pay for luxury. I was pleasantly surprised though and loved the typically french style rooms. It was immaculate but a little cramped and the view wasnt so great. Nevertheless I would still recommend this hotel for value, location and cleanliness.

Good location. Walking distance to restaurants, near to bus and train stations, shopping, markets, the beach, and sightseeing bus pickup. Hotel staff is very accommodating. Breakfast is good for 8 euros. Rooms, bathrooms and common areas very clean. No elevators, little street noise for rooms facing the street. We had a great stay.

We were very pleased with this hotel. We had room #222 for about $136 a night for four nights. The room looked like it was recently renovated; it was very attractive. It's on the side so it's quieter, plus the room had a little balcony where we could have our picnics when we ate light. We found the hotel restful after a day of sightseeing in Nice. We took the bus from the airport for 4 euro each and walked from the station to the hotel, which worked out fine. The open-air patio off the breakfast room is open all the time and one night we took the dinner that we bought at the store there to eat, and the owner saw that and brought us silverware, napkins, cold water, etc. The staff were very nice. The location is excellent. Besides the grocery store two doors down, there is a big Movenpic 3 blocks straight ahead on rue St. Jean. I was very happy that I had chosen this hotel.
