Our stay at Lepante was an average experience, nothing really wrong with the place for us - but the billing has been very troublesome. They charged me incorrectly when I checked out, which unfortunately I did not notice at the time. They only charged me for 2 nights (99 euros for a triple) instead of the 3 that we spent there. Two months after my departure from the hotel, an unexpected charge appeared on my credit card for 202 euros, without notice or explanation from the hotel. I am contesting this with them now and have hope that it will be sorted out... but because of all this trouble, I would certainly NOT recommend this hotel.

I had booked into Hotel LePante in Nice France on February 18th, 2008. I had stayed at this location for six nights. The room was small as was to be expected. The room appeared to be somewhat clean. On my last day I discovered that I had gotten body lice from the bedding in the room. This is the only place that it could have happened to me during my trip. I was outraged! I have emailed and tried to get answers from the hotel on three occasions, with no response from them.

I would avoid this dirty hotel due to unwanted body critters.

I came to this hotel with about 12 other friends for my bet friends hen weekend. This wasnt a luxurious hotel but then we didnt pay for luxury. I was pleasantly surprised though and loved the typically french style rooms. It was immaculate but a little cramped and the view wasnt so great. Nevertheless I would still recommend this hotel for value, location and cleanliness.

Good location. Walking distance to restaurants, near to bus and train stations, shopping, markets, the beach, and sightseeing bus pickup. Hotel staff is very accommodating. Breakfast is good for 8 euros. Rooms, bathrooms and common areas very clean. No elevators, little street noise for rooms facing the street. We had a great stay.
