Got the Easyjet flights and needed an equivalent easy hotel. Checked all the reviews on TripAdvisor and knew we wanted to be 'in the thick of it' with access to the beach, bars, restaurants, train stations and the Old Town. This hotel has it all.
Room was available at 11am when we got there which was a pleasant surprise and the decor was bright and fresh and looked certainly more than 2 Star. Room was of a sufficient size and with aircon and colour tv. Bed was very comfy and the bathroom had obviously been recently totally refurbished and the powershower was fabulous.
No problems with noise and staff always friendly in both French and English and plenty of tourist information and will book taxis etc.

Great hotel for the money! Staff is helpful, the location is great if you like to be in the center of things like we do. Rooms are small, but we don’t spend much time in it. This hotel is good for people on the go like us. If you spend a lot of time in your room, I would choose something a little nicer.

One thing that they need is an ice machine. With all the Americans (big ice users) that stay here, they should buy an ice machine. If you want any ice they will go to the café next door and get you a glass of ice. Breakfast is not worth the expense, better food and value all around the hotel.

We chose to believe the reviews before booking , and we were only surprised to find that the hotel was even better than the reviews. You will not be disappointed, the position is brilliant and within easy reach of the beach, train station & bus station. Fluent English was spoken by most of the staff, and they were all extremely helpful. Trips on buses to Monaco, Monte Carlo, Nice & Eze Village were regular & very cheap.

The room was immaculate, and though ours was a little small, it was compensated by the generous sized bathroom, which was also immaculately clean. Do have breakfast in the hotel as you cannot eat as cheaply in any of the restaurants.

We shall certainly return to this hotel. Our holiday of 10 days in Nice was superb.

This hotel is in a good location. The rooms are nothing special but the staff are very friendly.
