Location is EXCELLENT : very close to the railroad station (which enables you to quickly reach monaco, cannes, vintimiglia and all the french riviera) and reasonably close to the very famous promenade des anglais (seaside).

Hotel people and friendly and professional.

Beware of room finishing with 7 (107, 207...) which are very small with a poor view. Other rooms are great, althouth not really charmful.

Breakfast is too expansive for its value. and no shower curtain which makes it technically hard to get comfortable and multiple showers each day.

A nice experience, but not a "coup de coeur".

Our room was on the top floor with a balcony overlooking the green park. Room was small but very clean and comfortable. The shower had no curtain so the whole bathroom got wet. Staff was very friendly and professional. Breakfast was very tasty but not worth the 9 Euros.

We stayed at the Hotel Aria from July 3 to July 6. We are a family of four. We had a triple room with a rollaway bed added. The price was good (115 euros). No problems with cleanliness. The staff was attentive and polite. We would stay here again.

To the North Americans staying in European hotels: Relax!! You're in a different country!! You have to pay more and accept less.

Nice – Hotel Aria

We stayed at the Hotel Aria (*** hotel) located near the main train station, which is very convenient if that’s your choice of travel. The neighbourhood is pleasant and the hotel faces the Place Mozart park and five-level parking is located under ground beneath the park, at 13€ per day. Breakfast is available at 9€ is no bargain and you’d be better off using the small café next door. This hotel is acceptable but certainly nothing to write home about. It should be noted that the shower stall did not have a shower curtain or door and a hand-held shower head was used for rinsing. It’s located a 10 minute walk away from the Promenade des Anglais, the main promenade stretching along the beach. Take note that there is no sand on most of the beaches on the French Riviera and instead there are soft stones (not so soft, actually). Along the way to the beach you cross rue de France and rue Masséna, a busy and bustling “rue piétonneé (pedestrian walk).
For food try Restaurant Voyager Nissart, 19 rue Alsace Lorraine. Excellent food and a very reasonable price. Try also the Le Cenac on rue Biscarra but skip Le Côte Grill on avenue Georges Clémenceau.
