The bed and breakfast was such a great value. When we went, it was actually a lot cheaper than it is now (I guess they must have figured out what a great value it was). The room we got was spacious - there was a queen-sized bed and a full sitting area with couches and chairs. Attached was a little room with a smaller twin-sized bed. Three of us stayed in the room and there was plenty of space for us to sleep comfortably. There were large French windows that opened to the courtyard, which was a nice little touch.
The owner was incredibly nice and gave us a map of Nice. She didn't speak English very well, but it didn't matter. The town is so small that map was very self-explanatory. The location was ok - there was not much going on as far as restaurants and nightlife, but it was a short (10-15 min) walk to the pedestrian walkway with all of the restaurants and beach. It was closer to the train station (where we got the train to Monaco and Marseilles), but that area is definitely shadier. Overall, it was a very good experience and I definitely recommend it.
