We stayed here for 3 nights in November for a short break.

Initially it was a little difficult to find as there is no sign outside. Best thing to do is look for the building with the AXA sign on it and then look for the nameplate and door bell by the front door.

The ground floor is the hallway and there are Doctor's surgeries or offices on the first with Home Sweet Home on the second. There is a lift but it stops at the first so its a little difficult with a pram but by no means impossible.

The rooms are spacious, clean and stylishly decorated. There are two shared bathrooms, a communal kitchen with washing/ drying facilities and a dining room.

I believe most rooms have been recently decorated and in fact one was completed whilst we were there.

We had a baby and they were able to provide us with a travel cot for the duration of our stay.

Breakfast is simple but yummy. Bread, jam, tea/ coffee and juice.

The hosts are very friendly and will do everything to try and make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Good for backpackers/travellers but equally brilliant for those that dont mind the fact that you dont get your own bathroom.

10 minutes walk from the beach, 10 minutes to the main squares, 10 minutes from the railway station and 2 minutes from the nearest supermarket for supplies.

A gem of a place and if we come this way again then this is where we will stay.

This is perhaps the best bed and breakfast that I have ever stayed in. The hosts Geneveive and Phillipe are among the most gracious hosts and their apartment is like a million dollar condo. It is strange to imagine that a bed and breakfast would feel like your living in a brand new renovated apartment, but thats exactly the atmosphere you get. The rooms are immaculate and huge, with windows over looking much of the architecture in the surrounding neighbourhood. I would highly recommend these accommodations.

We absolutely loved this B&B. Everyone in the group agreed that it was the best place we stayed in Europe. The rooms are clean and spacious and the owners were wonderfully accomodating. It was refreshing to find a place that actually matched the description given on the internet. We will definitely stay here whenever we are in Nice.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights in March. We arrived in Nice on an early flight and were at Home Sweet Home by 9am. We knew we couldn't check in yet, but they minded our luggage and offered us breakfast (not part of the deal, so it was a really nice gesture). Our room was great, very quiet and comfortable and attractively furnished, and the loaction was very convenient and central. The bathroom closest to our room seemed to have been recently renovated, it was small but extremely functional. Breakfast was not exciting, but for what it was (tea/coffee, juice, bread and jam) it was delicious (lovely bread, excellent apricot jam, nice and plentiful coffee). The only problem we had there was finding the accommodation in the first place. There is no big sign out the front, just the name on the buzzer next to the (huge) front door.
Potentially annoying features: breakfast starts at 9am (which was fine for me and my boyfriend, but might not suit people who are pathological early risers); there are only 2 bathrooms and they are shared between everyone (if you choose a bad time to have a shower you might have to wait for a while until the bathroom is free. This was not a problem for us); it is preferred that you pay in cash for your stay. This should be no problem unless you are like my boyfriend who inadvertently had his credit card eaten by an ATM around the corner (meaning that I had to pay for everything!)
