Had a long weekend here and thoroughly enjoyed it , the hotel is clean and welcoming and the rooms are very very large for a french hotel .
the view is beautiful and u r located near all the main attractions of this trully wonderful place .
we had sea view which is a must , best choice would be 1st floor or 5th floor as these have balconys u can actually sit out on ,
all in all recommended to all and yes we are gong back

If opulence and sophisticaion are what you are looking for then perhaps Le Royal wouldn't be your first choice. But if it's a perfect location and great customer service for a very reasonable price that you're after, then you're in the right place.

We stayed in a sea view room overlooking the Promenade Des Anglais, and the view over the Med from our small balcony was stunning. Even better, the double glazing even drowned out the traffic noise from the busy road below, ensuring a restful night's sleep in a comfortable bed.

The room itself was pretty basic, but everything worked and it was more than adequate for our purposes.

Reception staff were superb and couldn't do enough. We would certainly book this hotel again. Didn't eat here, but the restaurant looked pleasant enough.

I have just got back from Le Royal in Nice, and found the hotel very pleasant and relaxed. We booked through the website after looking at alot of hotels and were worried that it might be very bascic, but that was not the case. The rooms were fresh,big and cleaned everyday. It was mostly older travellers , slighty more younger people at the weekend.

Staff were friendly and helpful with any queries we had. We had to wait a 90 minutes to check in, we arrived at 11.30, but still checked in well before the stated time which is 3.00pm.

The location is great 15 mins from airport on the bus, and its right on the beach and close to everything, great shops, bars etc.

We did book a tour through the hotel, but it can be cheaper to book through the Tourist office which down to the left of the hotel when you go out the door.

friendly staff, clean room good location bus 98 shuttle stops 5mins away - hard to critise at the price maybe a bit dated but hardly worth mentioning

disapointments - la pettite masion surly staff not worth the price le merenda not bad but again not as expected

likes - cannes lot quainter than expected - Nice loads of nice bars cafes - check aa guide 2006 other than the above 2 has some gems
