i stayed in this hotel with my boyfriend in feb o8 jus got back and have to say i totally enjoyed my stay here! the hotel is just off the main shopping street which brings you down to the beach ther are plenty of backstreets around the hotel full of little gems of restaurants. the room was basic but you get what you pay for it was clean and tidy. the staff were friendly and welcoming breakfast was basic a large breadroll and crossant with tea and orange juice to help you start the day.
the only problem i had was were not told ther was tiling going on in the hotel when we stayed but the workers did not work early in the morning just into the evening
i will be stayin here again next time i am in Nice.

stayed here for 3nights in december and you get exactly what you pay for. Welcoming reception staff who speak great english. Very clean spacious rooms, ok bathroom, no amenities, hence €30 a night... 10mins walk to the train station, 15/20 min walk to the old town/beach. if you want to keep the cost low, id recomend this place, but if you want somewhere with a few extra frills and a better location, then splash out further afield. Lovely little bar 200yards away where you can get a lovely glass of wine for €2.20!

Stayed here for my honeymoon based on good reviews. BUT it was terrible. The bathroom was very small and MOULDY!

Making the bed meant pulling the covers up. There were crumbs still on the bed!

Staff did speak some english and the breakfast was simple (croissant, bread, jam, orange juice and coffee) but tasty.

Would not stay here again.

On checking in, we were asked to pay a "City Tax", we were not informed by Travel Agent that all Hotels in Nice ask their guests on check in for this Tax. However, it was low.
The room was large and backed on to not a very pretty view, but as we were not there to look out of a window it did'nt matter. The room was clean and 2 comfortable beds and a table with chairs and a good fridge. Bathroom very basic but shower head excellent and plenty of hot water.
We had understood that there was to have been a hair dryer and a kettle in room, there was'nt. However the Hotel staff brought us cups saucers, sugar and pots of hot water whenever we required them, always with a smile.
The staff were always pleasent, and all but one spoke English.......but we were in France after all, so why should he !!!
Very near Train station and good bus service and soon a tram service, a pleasant 20 min walk to beach, plenty of local food shops, cafe's, near by.
All in all we thought the Hotel good if perhaps a little basic.
