We were adviced by an other hotel in st maxime (probably family) which had no vacancy to go to La Croisette.
When we arrived the lady at the reception was very unfriendly in welcoming us. For a small hotel and no other guests at the lobby you expect a little more conversation then name, credit card and this is your room number. We asked if we could park our two bikes somewhere safe and first that was not possible. After a lot of discussion we could park them inside a storage space. When we left for town 15 minutes later the lady at the reception told us that the owner was not happy with the bikes and that we had to go and speak with the owner. She created quite a problem and no discussion: we had to remove the bikes again. All of this conversation not in a very friendly way and mostly creating a problem for nothing. Finally we attached the bikes outside to a tree.
The room we got was a bit run down and with only 1 chair inside. We had a balcony without chairs to sit on! The cleaning could be better as well. The terrace where they serve the breakfast has the sunshine in the morning and if you are the unlucky you have to sit in the sun. Only 2 tables are in the shade.
The breakfast is very poor value for 11 Euro's a person and after 1 breakfast you know what to expect the rest of your stay.
To say something positive: the man serving the breakfast (the owner??) was friendly and the location of the hotel is ok.
My advice to the hotel owners is to be more customer friendly and invest in new furniture for the rooms and the terrace.
