Attended for 3 nights in june, based on tripadvisors reviews. The hotel is okish. If you book a room, get one with a sea view as the internal one we were in was quite dark. The room also needed tea and coffee making facilities. Also ask the hosts to prebook you a taxi at 50 euros as when we hailed one at nice airport, it cost 80 euros. Got the train to monte carlo, which was easy enough but a word of caution, take either a driving licence or passport EACH or you won't be allowed into the casino. Final moan was the local french lady at breakfast who doubled up as a cleaner needed a personality transplant as she wasn't the happiest bunny i'd ever met. Having said all that, the hosts are good company. The evening apertifs are a good way to meet new people and the location to St Paul's is excellent. All in all. very average
