This was a disaster from beginning to end. When I originally started planning our trip to St Tropez I knew it would be busy for hotels. I contacted this hotel in May for a stay in July requesting 2 rooms for 3 nights. It took the hotel over 2 weeks to get back to me and offer me 2 rooms with the cost. As I had had no response and assumed they could not accommodate I had been looking at other options and managed to book something else, however I was still requiring one room for the first night. I responded to the Mediterannee asking them if I could book 1 room for 1 night and provided my credit card details. Again 2 weeks later I received a response to say that they would not take a booking only for 1 night in the high season. I decided to call the hotel and try to ask them for some help and they said there was nothing they could do as just won't do 1 night and originally I had asked for 3. I did try to explain that because they had not responded to me I had no option but to look elsewhere as I needed to book something. The owner proceeded to be very rude to me and explain that she works 15 hour days and is very tired. After much back and forth she then asked me to call her back and she would try to get me a room at a friends hotel, I called back and she advised I was booked into the Hotel playa and she had given them my credit card details. I asked if I should call them and she said no all okay as she has been in person.

When we arrived at the Playa in July they have never heard of my booking. I explained that Solveig from the Medierannee had confirmed to me, she called Mediterannee and asked why she had confirmed to us when they were fully booked. We were told to go to Mediterannee and they would see what they could do. The Owner (who made the mistake) was too busy to come down and speak to us so she let her poor staff member take the heat. They had 1 room available for EUR144. I am in the early stages of pregancy and by this point was pretty tired and just thought we need a room even though I did not want to give them my money.. What a mistake, the hotel is tired. The bannisters to go up/down the stairs was hanging off. In the bedroom there is no Air Con, the tiles on the floor were all broken and could not be walked on. The sockets were hanging off the walls with wires sticking out. The bed lights did not work although this might have been safer due to the sockets!! The bathroom was not clean and the smell from the drains was intolerable. All in all this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and with the worst service from an Owner I have ever experienced. Her own staff were apologising on her behalf over the way we had been treated. Avoid this place like the plague. I work in the travel industry and would never reccomend this hotel to anyone.
