Yes it is an Ibis, but very well situated just outside the old city wall, a 5 min walk from the railway station.

The rooms are on the small side, but very clean, we found the breakfast to be of very good value and the staff very helpful.

We stayed for three nights and would have no problem in returning at a later date.

This IBIS hotel also may not have the charm of other hotels, but it too was reasonably cheap (given that we arrived in the middle on an annual festival), clean and comfortable. The hotel was fantastically placed in the old part of town with the lovely canals running alongside the streets. Would definitely stay there again.

You normally find an Ibis hotel in an Industrial area of town. Not this one though, it's situation is right in the old town and with the added bonus of parking right alongside. When I am on a short break I'm not overly bothered by the size of the room but I expect it to be clean and comfortable with good facilities. If I don't have to drive to see the sites it is so much better. If the staff are efficient, friendly and helpful it makes it so much better. If they offer a good breakfast then I have nearly all I want. If it is also quiet and in an attractive situationl what more could I ask?.
Well how about a bargain price? This hotel ticks all the boxes.
Annecy itself is lovely and so are the restaurants and the people.

Just returned from four nights in Annecy. This hotel was really good value for money, ideally situated on the edge of the old town with all its bars and restaurants. Within a few minutes walk of the railway station and the lake and parking right next door it really would be difficult to beat its location. Rooms the usual Ibis standard, adequate and very clean. The staff were extremely pleasant, very helpful and friendly. The bar/dining room was bright and cheerful offering 24hr food. The buffet breakfast was particularly good value and served from 6am until noon. Overall the hotel was great value!
