This was just yesterday the 12th of September, 2008. I moved into this hotel on the 10th of the same month. My booking has been made for about more than a month by my company Schneider. Interestingly the night after I arrived, I removed of my clothes from my bag and hanged them inside the cupboard. As usual next morning I left for work in the evening once I got back, I saw that my room was not cleaned or I would say touched, the blanket was lying the same way I left it. But once I opened my cupboard one of my most expensive dress was missing. The hanger was there empty and I am very sure that I left it on that particular hanger and it was right there but the dress has been stolen. It was one of my most expensive Dress and a brand new one. When I informed the help desk, they said they spoke to the cleaners and they said that thy dint take it. And When I wanted to talk to their manager about this issue they said, its the weekend and I could only talk to the supervisors on the monday that is day after tomowrow. And they are not ready to discuss about this issue. Seems like I need to wait till monday to talk about this matter to the manager and on the other hand I cant even change my hotel as my company placed me here, and I need to change it but I will have to wait till monday as it is the weekend.

We needed a base for one night with our 18 month old before travelling on to the Alps, and this place fulfilled its purpose adequately. It is a very short walk from the station - although if on foot, make sure that you take the pedestrian passage underneath the railway lines for the most direct route (we walked round the longer way that Google directed us to go!)

If you are staying with a baby or small child this place is definitely more convenient than a hotel as you have the extra space. It is functional rather that luxurious, and the furnishings are somewhat 1980's in style but clean and adequate. I wouldn't choose City Suites as somewhere to stay for a romantic break but would use it again as a stop-over.

A four-minute walk from the train station, Europole Centre de Congrès and Grenoble Ecole de Management, this hotel features large rooms and work areas. The suite was very clean and the front desk helpful. Most of the major attractions are on the other side of the train station, as are the grocery stores (there are three about two blocks from the front of the train station). Internet access was somewhat complicated, but the desk was helpful in providing technical support. This is an office area, so there is not much activity after 1800; however, there are many restaurants on the other side of the train station and the Old Town is a fifteen minute walk (or take the tram outside the front of the train station).

Our family really enjoyed our experience at the City Suites it was perfect for us,traveling with a teenager.
We had a two bedroom suite with livingroom/ kitchen combo. It was modern & clean. It was so much better than sharing a triple room. Our previous visit to France in November we had booked triples for 12 nights which can be quite crowded. Not to mentioned the fights about turning the lights off or on depending what side of the fence you sit on.
The staff at the front desk was helpful and spoke some English. The buffet breakfast was 9 euros per person. The coffee was great served with warm milk. They also served a nice assortment of local cheeses (and meats if you are into that sort of thing). We stayed for 5 nights, at that time we were deciding whether our not we would make Grenoble our home for the next two years. Since then we have decided to do just that!
