I had some experience with the receptionist and the cleaner of City Suites, Grenoble Europole. My husband is working in Grenoble for temporary 3 months, as being a wife I come here for holiday, as I am staying in the room for most of the time, I spend my time surfing internet, but it seem like the internet here is always down, so I had to call to the reception to reset the system, but they always seem like finding some excuses saying that they are busy to do it now. As for changing the bulb in the room, they never bother to come to the room, they will ask us to come down to the reception with the spoiled one and exchanged with them.
As for this one is the most terrific experience, I had once ask the cleaner to close the window after cleaning the room as she always open the windows while she come to the room, and kept leaving the window open while she had left, (because of the winter time so it is very cold here) as this is the second time that I ask her to close it,(I have checked with the house keeping manager they are not suppose to leave the window open when they leave) but turn out being scolded by her in french language and a very rude word in english that I understand but it is not nice for me to say it here because it is really very rude 'word', I was shocked that I was being treated like this, as this is a very rude word to say as also saying to the guest in the hotel. After complaning to the receptionist, she didn't even go and investigate first but keep on denying, saying that the cleaner does not speak English, it was really some experience for me, it seem like I am the person who is lying here..., after trying to complaint to the so call manageress, she blame it on misunderstanding as she said I do not understand what the cleaner said in french, I was really shocked of how I was being treated as a guest here.
After realising what is happening, I don't want to waste my time explaining to her anymore as
I can see that they do not want to admit what is happening in this hotel, but I am very sure of what I have heard and how the cleaner talk to me in an anger manner while she is also pointing her finger at my face. This is really the most terrific service
I have had.
