Nice size rooms in convenient location. Bathroom can be closed off from room for privacy. Great value for the money. Near train station & metro.

The hotel is exactly what you would expect from a three star hotel. Rooms are clean, front desk is helpful (also in English) and location is very good for Lyon sight seeing. Airport shuttle bus leaves from Gare de Perrache a couple of blocks south from the hotel.

Even though our corner room was on the first floor we weren't bothered by any noise from the pedestrian street. The room was fairly large for a French city center hotel.

Free WLAN in all rooms and lobby is nice plus. Breakfast for 7€ is satisfactory.

Overall highly recommended providing great value for money.

La Residence is a well-kept, well-located hotel. While there's nothing extraordinary about it, there's nothing terrible to be said, and some nice perks include telephone and TV in room, as well as a location on a main pedestrian artery convenient for sightseeing. Also, free Internet access is available in the lobby.

We stayed there for one night, in a nice clean room. There's not much to say, just that it's in the city center, near everything.
The frontdesk should be more helpful and kind.
