This hotel was really great. Both the bedroom and bathroom were huge and everything very modern. Staff were friendly.

Hotel was in excellent location - close to metro/train station, shopping, cafes, restaurants and easy walking distance to all major sights.

Stayed at La Residence for 3 nights in August. It is an OK budget hotel right in the center of the city. It is very convenient to walk anywhere. My triple room was reasonably large, A/C worked fined and free wifi was nice to have although it was very slow at times. Staff is friendly but some do not speak English so it was diifficult get help at certain times not knowing French.

The hotel is located in a pedestrian shopping zone, very close to Place Bellecour, and is easily accessible by Metro (2-minute walk). It's only a short walk away from the old city and many of Lyon's attractions. The lobby is nice and welcoming, and a computer is available for free Internet access. The room was large and recently renovated, with a flat-screen TV, a fridge, and a safe. The bathroom was big and looked nice, but there was no shower curtain (which is not unusual in Europe).

Room small but clean with aircon and TV. Good sized bathroom with lovely deep bath and separate toilet. Free wifi access in rooms. Staff friendly. Convenient location to main sites.
