“Not worth the price”

The Best Western Hotel De Verdun is a cramped, depressing hotel in an otherwise good location near the Perrache SNCF train station and central Lyon. The tiny rooms lack air conditioning, which given the absence of ventilation is a fatal flaw. Amusingly, another guest left his/her satisfaction form on the tiny desk, providing a blistering review. The Hotel staff had clearly not noticed and left it there! What more can I say!?

Stay elsewhere- there are far better places and values.
