After reading the other review of this place on this site, I was expecting the worst. I mean, I've stayed at some crap places in the past but.....this one was fine! We didn't have to make beds, no mould, or vomit, we didn't have to clean anything before using it...maybe we got lucky?!
We're used to travelling, in our late-20's, relaxed, easy going, not students. We stayed at the 5 person apartment, granted it was small but we were there for the snow. But really, the size wasn't a real problem.
It was clean, comfortable, the beds were firm, clean and made.
The kitchen is basic but that's what i expected. Take a sharp knife if you plan on any cooking. We managed to do scrambled eggs, omlettes, pasta, easy stuff. They could do with a toaster and kettle - none of that. There's a fridge, microwave so that's good, and a crap but functional coffee maker. Oh and dish washer, you have to buy your own tablets.
There's a cleaning fee if you dont want to clean the place yourself - recommended, because i'm lazy and theres a 10am checkout.
Other stuff were, the doors were rickety - roller door to kitchen wasnt hinged properly, as too were the ones to cupboard. We took them off the rails, it was easier! Light globes were blown - not a big issue.
Staff were fine, quite helpful in some respects. Didn't have any problems with them.
All in all, we paid for a basic accom and we got it. Don't expect egyptian cotton sheets and mini-bars and all that jazz. if you dont like it, go out into the town and get about, the hotel is in a great location!
