We had group of 21 people staying here over Christmas in five rooms. After reading the reviews on this site, we packed our sleeping bags and held our collective breath as we entered the rooms....
... only to find that they were fine! I think the reviews on this site had lowered our expectations to such a degree that we would have been happy if the toilets flushed! Instead, we found the apartments to be very clean, and everything worked (from the kitchen appliances to the heating) as it should.
We also found the staff quiet relaxed and very helpful - and that was despite our complete inability to make ourselves understood in the French language. Late night revelry only resulted in a polite request that we keep our doors closed to keep the noise down!
On the down side, the rooms were small (as you would expect for a budget hotel in the snow), the lounges doubled as beds (but were otherwise comfortable), and one of our group had to use a trundle bed.
Otherwise, this place is fine. I've paid more and received less. If you are looking for separate bedrooms and room service, go elsewhere. But if you are after somewhere clean and relatively cheap, you'll be fine here.
Age group - mid 20's to mid 30s. Ex Dublin.
