When my wife and I arived in Heidelberg we found a place to park and made our way to the hotel. I had made reservations ahead of time on their website. These were the room options I had to choose from:
single room Euro 47,00
single room with shower/toilet Euro 68,00/ 72,00
single room with bath/toilet Euro 78,00
twin bedded room Euro 57,00
twin bedded room with shower/toilet Euro 83,00/ 96,00/ 106,00
twin bedded room with bath/toilet Euro 100,00
since it was my wife and I, I chose the single room with shower/tolet for 68 euro. Upon ariving, I showed them my reservation reply. They said this was for one person and we had to take the only twin bed room they had left for 96 euro. We left and found a much more centrally located hotel for cheaper. I call hotel koler and he said that he was forced by german law to charge 80% of the room i reserved. The lady in charge of the hotel I chose had not herd of such a law.
