The Schnookeloch is in a wonderful location. It is within easy walking distance of the cathedral and square. My room was clean and well-furnished. The bath was nicely complete, clean as well. The Schnookeloch is an "experience" as well as a nice place to stay. The history is hard to ignore (and why would you want to?). The staff was accomodating, helpful and thoughtful. On my next trip to Heidelberg I will not have to consider where to stay. I will just hope there is a room available at the Schnookeloch.
