There are few hotels that have the kind of hospitality found at the "Flair." To say it offers personal service is an understatement. You will want to hug the proprieters every time you pass the desk.
As for the hotel itself, it is situated right on the main road coming down into Stuttgart, and it exudes the old world it has stood upon since its creation.
In the front building, you will find ancient, gorgeous woodwork, inlayed throughout... though you may find the rooms a wee bit stifling, as they're sealed against the noise of the passing traffic, and you will find the insulation from your neighbors a bit lacking, as you hear them through the walls in the WC.
In the rear building, the rooms are well-appointed, but they lack the history of the front.
The restaurant was not open for dinner during my stay, but the breakfast was more than adequate. This is not an upscale hotel. It is not a business hotel. It is, however, a unique experience, and a trip back in time well worth taking.
