This hotel is a fantastic place to stay while you are visiting Bertchtesgaden. Not only is the food (which is cooked by the hotel's owner, Peter Miller) spectacular, but the service is just as wonderful. My room, which offered an absolutely breath taking view of the town, was filled with flowers and fresh fruit upon my arrival. Before I started my day's travels, I was able to go downstairs to the breakfast room and enjoy a wide variety of food (which is complimentary) while gazing out at the mountains. The staff was very helpful with any questions I had about my travels, making sure every need I had was met while I stayed there. I also have to add that it was nice to feel so "at home" at Vier Jahreszeiten, which is not a compliment I can offer to any other hotel I have stayed at in the past. Definitely secure a room at this hotel when you plan to visit Bertchtesgaden; you will not be disappointed!

Having just returned from our fifth trip to the charming establishment it has left us yearning for our sixth! If one wants to experience German hospitality at its finest Vier Jahreszeiten is the place to do it. From fine cuisine, wonderful rooms and amnenities to world class views this is the place to do it. The Family Miller provides it all. Just seconds from fine Berchtesgaden shops and the Bavarian Alps Vier Jahreszeiten is the place to call home in Bavaria. If one could be granted a wish it would be to visit this wonderful place every year!

If you would like to wake up to some of the most beautiful views Germany has to offer, this is your hotel.

The rooms are immaculate as is the service. If great dining is what you're looking for you may as well never step out of the hotel as the breakfast is delicious and dinner menu is amazing. The french onion soup is the best I've ever had and there isn't a single entree' that will dissapoint.

There is plenty to do in the surrounding town as far as shopping and entertainment go. If you are planning a trip to Germany this is the place you want to be.

Did I mention the food? Oh my goodness, Chef Peter Miller is brillant. This is the second time in three years that we have stayed at the hotel Vier Jahreszeiten in Berchtesgaden and we have dined in the hotel restuarant every evening during our stay. The food and wine is the best in Bavaria. I would highly recommend this first class hotel.
