We stayed at Hotel Wittelsback in May. Very nice and helpful staff. Good location in town. There is parking behind the hotel.
Nice large rooms and good breakfast. We would stay here again if we get back to Berchtesgaden.

Stayed at the Hotel Wittelsbach in Berchtesgaden for seven nights end of September 2006. Lovely hotel, fabulous breakfasts, in the heart of town. Petra Wimmer, the manageress, lovely lady, extremely helpful and obliging. Cleaning ladies also very friendly. We will definitely be back. Fabulous Fabulous. Beautiful area.

Although we only got to stay here for 1 night, we LOVED it. The woman at the front desk (Ms Wimmer?) was very helpful with everything we asked her and was always friendly. There were 4 of us traveling together so we booked one of their aparments, which consisted of a bedroom with large bed, bathroom, and living room with 2 pull out beds (also with sink in the room). Like said before, the views from the balcony are breathtaking. The breakfast was the best we had on our trip (we stayed at 3 different hotels in Germany). Hotel was pretty much walking distance from everything and the pedestrian area with shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend this hotel to everyone!

The rooms are very comfortable, the view of the Alps from the room balcony is beautiful and the breakfast is great. We will definitely stay here again on a future trip....
