Although the neighborhood inititlally seemed a bit weary - it was actually frinedly and safe. Greate grocery stores nearby. Easy walk to down town, restaurants, laundry, train, etc. The rooms were small but clean. No air cinditioning though (although unnecesary during our stay). we would comae again.

This hotel has a good location (walking distance from the old town) and hotel is clean, good breakfast, ver good BW hotel standard. I would recommend for anybody

We just returned from four days and nights in Munich and loved the visit. The Best Western Atrium, although not in a fashionable neighborhood, shines. The room was very clean, large enough and equipped with all the neccessities. Breakfast was wonderful in a bright, cheery atmosphere. The location is just fine in this major city. Located 10 minutes, easy walk from the Bahnhof.. (RR station). Since Munich is expensive, we felt that The Atrium vas great value . We can't think of any drawbacks and would certainly return.

Enjoyed a 6 night stay at the Atrium Hotel for the Oktoberfest. Excellent location, only a couple of blocks walking to the Theresienswiese. Hotel was very clean and the front desk staff were pleasant. Rooms on the ground floor behind the bar were of a decent size. Water pressure in the bathroom was excellent with plenty of hot water.

Breakfast was included and had a much better choice than many I've experienced in Europe (lots of pastries, meats, cheeses, breads, scrambled eggs, Leberkase, yogurts/cereals).

It's not the Meridien, but the Atrium provides a convenient location to the Hauptbahnhof, the Wiesn, and is only a short walk to the Marienplatz. For me, the hotel was overprices because of the Oktoberfest, but most hotels in Munich are at this time of year.

I would definitely consider it again if the price was right.
