Very nice hotel, convenient to Marienplatz. and in good part of Munich. We did not want to stay near train station. What we didn't like was that they charged 13E for breakfast so we never had breakfast there. There was a nice cafe across the street and we found a nice restaurant around the corner that actually served breakfast. We would stay here again if we go back to Munich.

We were a group of five, using three rooms. The room my husband and I were in, was the smallest of the three, room 201. But was large enough. Room 201 is on the street above the bar. We would have expected that noise would be an issue, but due to the wonders of double glazed glass, there was no street noise. We even had to open the windows in order to be able to hear the bells from the church buildings. The only noise we heard was slight when some jackhammers started up. But it was not that noticable.

The bathrooms, always a concern for American's were great, even ours the smallest of the three was the roomiest we had on our trip. The water pressure in the shower was great. It was also well sound proofed, my husband could get up and shower, while I continued to sleep

The Rick Steeve's book says this is a boring business hotel., which is not that far off. But it was the only hotel we had in Germany that had shampoo, shower cap, and soap in the shower. If that makes a difference to you.

We did not do the breakfast, choosing instead to buy from the cafe across the street.

The staff was great, one day it poured rain, and they had umbrellas readily available for us.

I also needed to use the laundry service, which worked great. I had even mis caculated the price, and they lowered it to the correct one.

Very clean, very comfortable, good lamps for reading in bed.

The best thing was the location, you are moments from the pedistrain section, and a 5 mintue walk from the Marienplatz. Close to shopping, places to eat and historical areas.

They even have parking, althought we didn't use it.

We'd definately stay there again.

After staying in a wide range of hotels for 2 weeks, this was the last place we stayed on our trip. Great modern rooms with an excellent bathroom (TV audio broadcasts in the bathroom). The rooms have nice amenities, and the breakfast they serve in the morning downstairs is out of this world. A perfect mix of European and American breakfasts. Front desk staff was extremely helpful. Only about a 2 minute walk to the Hauptbanhof, and about 10 minutes to Mirianplatz. Would highly recommend.

This hotel lived up to my expectations from reviews. Modern, warm and inviting and the beds were so comfortable and they have modern bathrooms. You can't go wrong staying here and if I ever go back to Munich, I would definitely stay there again! Breakfasts are worth it, by the way.
