We had a great time here and it was conveniently close to the trains. We were upgraded to their brand new rooms that were recently renovated and the rooms were very nice. No complaints at all; the hotel staff were very helpful showing us where we needed to go, had maps of Oktoberfest ready for us and had smile on their faces at all times.

Hotel was also just a few stops away by train which was very nice and we had a wonderful time in Munich, we would definitely stay at this hotel again on our next trip!

Spent three nights at the Sheraton Four Points. The hotel was a little difficult to find nestled in the Olympic village where previously developed housing for atheletes in the 1972 Olympics have been converted to apartments. Once I got there, I found the front desk to be very accomodating and eager to make the stay a good one. The breakfast was a little pricey at 16 euros and not quite to the full breakfasts I have had at other hotels in Germany. There is not much selection in the area for restaurants but a quick ride on the subway which is less than 1/4 mile from the hotel to the City Center provides options.

The room was pretty comfortable except the lighting could be better especially for reading. Internet service is typically hotel priced. Right outside the hotel, are numerous internet cafe's that charge about 1 euro for 45 minutes, a great deal. Also stock up on snacks etc at the numerous small grocery stores. Just keep in mind everything except restaurants are closed on Sundays.

All in all a good stay at Sheraton Four Points and would stay here again.

My husband and I were in Munich with my brother and his wife during Oktoberfest. The Four Points Sheraton is a 10-15-minute ride to the city center by underground and 25 minutes by taxi. While it is not located in the center of town, we found its location quite convenient because the underground station, Olympiapark, is only a 2-minute walk from the hotel. For 9 euro which we bought from the hotel desk we got an underground pass for up to 5 people for the day. Without our asking for it, the staff very nicely gave us a room upgrade when we checked in. The hotel is very nice, the lobby big and attractive, and the double room with queen bed we were in was very nice and spacious. We found the rate of 92 euro per night quite reasonable considering we were in Munich during a city holiday. Although the rate did not include free continental breakfast, the fridge was stocked with sodas, juices, nuts, cookies, etc. These food items were included in the rate and could be replenished anytime just by calling the front desk. There was a coffeemaker, with supplies, and a safe in the room, both provided free of charge. We found the staff super-friendly and very helpful. What added to the convenience are the shops surrounding the hotel, including a pharmacy, supermarket, small market that sells mostly fresh fruits, small eating places, an Italian restaurant, and a small pizzeria (offering pizza, Greek foodstuff such as durum, gyro, and green salads) that was open when other eating places nearby were closed. It was a life-saver after we returned from the city past 6pm and just wanted something light to eat. There is a restaurant in the hotel, and while we did not get the chance to eat there, we noticed from the menu posted that the prices are quite reasonable. The hotel is in a park-like setting and we enjoyed taking a walk around the park after returning from the city. Staying there was just like being in a self-contained town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we're glad we picked this hotel among all the available ones in that price range. We'll most certainly stay there again the next time we're in Munich!

Solidly average...nice, clean room with average nice, clean bathroom. Quiet, with a nice location easy walking distance from the subway. No real restaurants or bars in the area, that we could find, besides a cheap, but good, Greek cafe and a local pub w/ very moody barkeep. Several good bakeries, though. Free parking and easily accessed from autobahn.
