We loved this hotel!!! Its location was great, yet quiet, and we could walk to Marienplatz, great restaurants, great shopping -- you name it. The room was spacious and very tastfully decorated, with warm colors, large windows and a view of the park across the street. The beds were comfortable and had luxurious linens, including down comforters and two different sized down pillows each. There was a shaded, outside patio with lush plants and lots of greenery, where we could relax after a long day of touring and have snacks and drinks. The room rates were very reasonable, and included a nice, very fresh breakfast each morning. We needed alot of help, never having been to Munich before, and the staff at the hotel were all so helpful and provided us with impeccable service. We would highly recommend this hotel and most definitely would stay there again.

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Admiral in July 2005. I had researched online, including Trip Advisor. I totally agree with the positive reviews. We really enjoyed the room (facing the garden), and the breakfast is great. The staff is very friendly-- uncommon during our Bavarian trip. This hotel is in a great location, just down the street from Deutches Museum and a few minutes walk from city center, with plenty of beer gardens and restaurants nearby. The S8 train is a good way to get there from the airport if you don't have much luggage, the S-bahn station Isartor is 2-3 blocks. This hotel is excellent.

My husband and I stayed here in November of 2003 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful our room was clean and comfortable with a nice view of the inner garden. The breakfast was amazing and something that I looked forward to every day there. This has been one of the best if not the best hotels that I have stayed in in all of Europe. The next time we are in Muenchen we will definitely go back!

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Admiral for four nights in September 02. Decent location across from the European Patent Office and not far from attractions. The staff are wonderful and the atmosphere is charming. The breakfast is one of the best I have had in Europe - wide array of pastries, fresh ripe fruits, delicious fresh yogurt and much more. The common areas are tastefully done and accommodations are above average for the price. I highly recommend this hotel and plan to stay there again this fall.
