We had a very large room with a big window, making it nice and bright during the day. Our double room had 2 twin beds with traditional down duvets, a desk with small chair, 2 armchairs around a table, a nightstand, tv and minibar. The furniture has definitely been around for awhile, and one chair had a broken leg, but overall it's an attractive and clean room. One bed did not have a nightstand and I found that a little inconvenient. I'm not sure why it was missing--there's plenty of room. In contrast to this large and nicely decorated room, the bathroom is cramped, dark, and in need of an update. It was spotlessly clean, but not real user friendly.
The breakfast buffet was the real star of our stay. They offered everything you can imagine: fresh fruit (in December), cereals, meats, cheeses, baked goods, and wonderful coffee. It's served in a very pleasant room overlooking the garden, and in warmer weather I would think they'd set up tables outside also. In addition to the generous buffet, the hotel provided a fruit plate in our room and complimentary bottled water. Katya at the front desk did a great job steering us to good restaurants and shopping areas. There's an excellent restaurant on the corner, just a few doors down from the hotel. When we first walked in we thought it was a bar, but they also serve meals and do a wonderful job at it.
