This hotel is right across from the train station. It is modern, and has a friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are small, but most are in Europe. My room and bathroom was very clean. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone, everywhere.

The hotel is right at the train station and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a room in original Bavarian style, and the bathrooms were nice too, I just did not like the shower curtain too much :-). I would really recommend the hotel to everybody.
We stayed at the Eden Hotel Wolff for three days in mid-December and would recommend this hotel to others. The hotel is located in front of the main train station, which makes getting around Munich extremely easy. The room was very clean and the bathroom was quite spacious. I also liked the decor in the hallways - you'll notice several antique paintings and woodcarvings, which are a nice contrast to the modern elevator and lobby.
The breakfast was also delicious and the breakfast staff is really friendly. There was a nice mix of eggs, sausages, pastries, yogurt/cereals, breads, fresh pretzels and juices. The breakfast room is also cute, with a nice Bavarian flavor.
The only downside to this hotel is that because it is located in front of the train station, the surrounding area isn't so pretty (though it is safe and clean). However, we spent our days exploring the city anyway, and found that the hotel was less expensive than those closest to the Marienplatz, yet still of a high standard.
Overall, a good (not great, but good) experience.
Stayed at the hotel from 12/14 - 12/17/06 for sightseeing and to attend the many Christmas markets in the area. Location is good to get to the old city center (Marienplatz) with a nice walk to get there. Always felt very safe walking in the area - even very, very late coming back from the Hofbrauhaus. Hotel staff went out of their way to be helpful in English - only non-english speaking front desk staff person we found promptly went and got somebody that could speak excellent English. Very helpful with directions and recommendations.
Restuarant was good for breakfast, nice selection though a bit expensive if not included in the room (Expedia rates do not include). Caution - restaurant was very, very smoky in the front section - though it is Europe, after all. If you don't want to be near it, stay to the back.
Overall, would recommend.
The hotel was okay / neutral overall and here’s why:
The positives: Staff were very friendly & helpful during arrival and when I had questions.
The sauna & steam room are great, with a roof terrace to boot.
Food selection's above average
Location right opposite central station
24-hour WLAN flat rate offered at only 10 EUR BUT be aware off (see neg.s)…
The negatives: Standard single rooms are very small
The shower goes from hot to nearly cold quite often. Opening hours of the fitness was said to be 10am-10pm, but only the FITNESS area was open in the morning, with sauna & steam only opening at 7PM (not great, if you want to cure you flue & hit the sauna in the morn also)
IF you don’t buy the WLAN flat rate direct from the hotel, it will be charged at 19 EUR instead of 10…
