we stayed here the first 2 nights in Germany...We were in love with it and the staff was so accommodating and helpful. The face of the hotel is plain, but like many hotels we stayed in was very different inside the doors. Rooms were a good size, decorated very nice, we had a room overlooking the quiet street and it was in a quiet area (we slept in longer the first nites...jet lag) Near a university I believe. Only problem was finding the car access to the street..it is blocked at one end by a gate (university perhaps?) but the GPS did help a bit...there is a strange turn at the end of the main street to it, once used it is easy to find (by a pharmacy). call them if not sure. the Brunch was outstanding! I did not need a lunch after it. 2 hot dishes and the so much more. They could not do enough for you. I was surpirsed at first at how semi hard the bed was ..but all 6 hotels in so. germany /austria were the same...I DID sleep like a lamb and felt refreshed. Beds in Amer. hotels are softer than Ger.
Elevator was a plus for us. husband has bad leg. They tell you good restaurants too. there are a lot withing walking distance that locals go to, and the prices are good and food delicious. Subway station is at end of street, easy access (just don't use credit card to get pass...the machine ATE my card and wasted our time getting help) we then took the car. They have parking out front too. Definitely recommend it. Worth every cent!

We stayed at the hotel exquisit for one night in april. The location, like others have noted is very good. It is not that hard to cross the busy intersection as long as your careful, just like any other big city. To get to the marienplatz if thats where you are headed. It is about a 20 minute walk from the train station. The rooms were really nice. The morning breakfast is really good, with many things to pick from, you won't be hungry. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again if I was in Munich.

We stayed at the Exquisit for 3 nights the week before Christmas. Our family - 2 adults and 2 children aged 7 and 9, toured Bavaria and the Christmas markets. I chose the Exquisit because it could offer a "Maisonette" room, which is a room that had a lofted area for the main sleeping area, and they converted the sofa to a bed and added a rollaway as well to the main level. It was a comfortable arrangement for all of us. The bath was split into 2 rooms - one with toilet and sink and one with tub/shower, bidet and 2 sinks. All very modern and in very nice condition.

The service at the hotel was excellent on all fronts - when my German wasn't sufficient, their very good English bridged the gaps. Breakfast was really good - the usual German cold breakfast, with additional hot items that changed daily. It was very hearty and diverse.

The location was ideal - steps away from the Sendlinger Tor U-Bahn stop which connects to the main railroad station and the Marienplatz with only one stop. It also connected easily to the S-Bahn out to the airport. What is normally a 60-70 Euro cab ride was only 18 euros with a "Partner day pass" on the U- and S-Bahn. It was a 15-20 minute walk to the Hauptbahnhof and only 10 minutes on foot to the Marienplatz. It was about 20 minutes walk to the Deutsches Museum.

We paid 175 Euros/night and I felt it was a very good value for what we got and the location. I would recommend this hotel highly.

This was our second choice hotel as the one we originally wanted was booked. I found this Hotel good value for money for the room., We were not on buisness but just on a short breakaway for the xmas markets jolly., which were about 10 minute walk. Stayed in room 311 while my sister and her partner stayed in the adjoining room 312. large rooms, very clean, asked for more pillows..no problem . King size comfy bed...tea and coffee you had to ask for but was complimentary., shower cap, emeryboard and sewing kit complimentary., you had a sitting area and you could screen off your bed area with a curtain., very cozy and you could also smoke if you wanted and as my husband dosen't .,you can easily open the window and they had an extractor fan you could use...not that I am advocating smoking!. Shower in our room and reasonably priced mini bar., you could get CNN to catch up on the news. Bath in my sister's room, which I used without going out into the corridor as it was interconnecting. Breakfast served from 7 until 11. which is a vast array...very fresh..hot and cold. Scramble egg with bacon and fried potatoes..delicious... although did not look that appetizing. Would stay here again.
