The area is not the nicest area in the city. It's convenient but after dark, the area is full of peep shows and strip clubs.If you can find similar deals in better parts of the town I would recommend to do so. The hotel itself is decent save for the drunk housekeeper who barged into our room...!!

We booked a stay here for this years Oktoberfest from Sept 23-26. The hotel was a short walk from the central station, the girl at the front desk was friendly at check in. We arrived at 5pm and our room was ready. We had a standard room on the 4th floor, facing the street. It was a nice size for European standards, and the bathroom was small but not too small. As for Oktoberfest, the hotel was an easy walk to the grounds and that was the main reason for booking there, a major bonus. The one major draw back was that it was very hot in the room if we closed the windows and very noisy if we opened the windows. I highly suggest you bring ear plugs to remedy this situation because without AC, if the weather is mild, it is really warm with the windows closed.

Large, clean and comfortable room, but unfortunately bedding consisted of 2 single mattresses put next to each other rather than a single double or large mattress. Service was OK (they had forgotten the previous occupants bed linens and towels in the room when we arrived, but they came to pick it up immediately). The TV set is very small.
Bathroom amenities were a bit disappointing, and no extra pillow or blanket was provided in the room.
Breakfast was good, even though at 9.50 tables were no longer set (breakfast was supposed to be finished by 10.00).
Overall, an OK hotel and a good value.

The rooms feel 4 star, but the price is 3 star. Great value for the money (67 Euros). Clean, nicely furnished and relatively large room for a European city hotel. A bit further from the train station than the other hotels in the area (about a 10 minute walk).
