We stayed at the Hotel Senator in October 2007. The hotel is centrally located between Main Station and S-Bahn Station Hackerbrücke. If you want to visit Oktoberfest this would be a perfect location. Hotel Senator is situated at a very busy street. If you want to avoid noise, make sure you get a room to the back.

The staff was friendly, the room spacious and spotless clean. The size of the room is more than you would expect from a 3-star-hotel. The breakfast is offered in buffet-style, well above 3-star-standard. We will stay there again.

“Wonderful and affordable”

This is a four star property by American standards and a German three star. An excellent hotel, really a hidden jewel, and great value for the money.

The hotel is situated very close to the main railway station and within walking distance from most downtown attractions, but in a great hidden corner away from traffic noises. Rooms are just great, bathrooms spacious and well equipped, and their complimentary (with most reservations) hot buffet breakfast is to die for.

I very much enjoyed my both stays at Senator. It does not have any significant flaws and offers great accommodation for a very reasonable price.

We stayed at the Senator in July 2004 and found it to be very clean and nicely appointed. The price was very reasonable and the location is near the Hauptbahnhof and Marienplatz. Also, U-Bahn and tram stops only a few minutes walk from the hotel. The staff was very nice and willing to please. Highly recommended!

Friendly staff, trolley lines at corner(2 stops to Main station). One block from Octoberfest Grounds, good rates thru hotel or Munich Tourist Bureau. Nice Breakfast room with decent buffet.
I have stayed here twice a year for the past few years and always had an excellent stay. Spotlessly
clean. Worth a visit
