The hotel itself is beautiful, and very conveniently located across from the train station which is why we booked it. The bathroom was really small but clean. The bed was very comfortable, and the rest of the room, also very clean. Breakfast was very good and the hotel bar was pretty nice. However . . .
If your room faces the train tracks (as ours did) you will listen to trains come and go all night, along with announcements for each and every train all night long. It was so loud, it sounded like the train was stopping in our room. My husband and I are not picky about hotels, but after the first night there we were drinking our faces off just to sedate ourselves enough to sleep.
Other guests said that the front of the hotel was fine, so if you book this, ask for a room in front.
We also stayed in the Munich InterCity and I've heard they're all nice.
