We have used the past to years to do some refurbishment and paintwork. In detail the following renovation program has been completed:

Our restaurant was extended and completely refurbished. A new extended menu has been successfully established and as a result opening times have been extended to 7 days a week during high season. (At low season the restaurant is closed on bank holidays and Sunday for dinner).
With a breakfast worthy of special attention, then your good start to the day is our objective. Therefore the breakfast motto of InterCityHotels is: “Luxurious, lavish and opulent.” And opulent really does describe the grand hotel breakfast buffet.

All function rooms and the lobby have been repainted in a modern style.
All floors have been repainted.
All bathrooms have been partly renovated.

Rooms are now offered as:
-Standard rooms (facing the railway station)
-Business rooms (facing the town)
-Business Plus rooms (facing the town, coffee making facility, amenities in the room)

As a result to the demand of our international clients four of five floors are designated non-smoking areas. Our restaurant and our conference rooms are non smoking areas.

With regards to the other positive reviews of our property this special review should not be overrated…
