One-night stay before returning home via Frankfurt Airport. Location is somewhat city environment. Relatively easy to find by car because detailed MapQuest map was accurate and traffic volume was low at the time. Easy to park at registration area in front of taxi stand. Underground parking garage easy to access (many auto doors and room key for security), but 16 € and tight spaces. Location and exterior were not as impressive as web pictures. Interior was as nice as web pictures. Fourth floor room was ample and excellent, especially by German standards. It was quiet, appeared to be newly refurbished. Bed was very comfortable with quality linens. Bathroom was small, but quality. Front desk was extremely friendly, and helpful with information and directions. Had to leave before we could enjoy the provided breakfast, but staff volunteered to provided a box breakfast for us to take. It was very tasty and plentiful, although we had to finish the liquids before going through airport security. Local area in one direction takes you to the Elbe River for comfortable walking on paths along the river. In the opposite direction, you can walk to numerous shops, restaurants, and fast food. Easy drive to airport took about 20 minutes or so, and could gas up just before entering autobahn.

Great breakfast spread! Shocking for Europe standards. Right next to a subway stop so it easy to get the airport (30 min max), downtown (15 min), and the main train station (20 min). Everyone was very nice and spoke excellent English. The room was huge by Europe standards, but average by American. There are restaurants right next to the hotel. Internet available in the lobby, but it is pricy. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here night of 01December2006. Front desk staff was very quick and efficient. Great size room and bathroom. Very comfortable bed, and nice hot shower. Both were welcome after long flight from Chicago. The bar area was really nice. Very popular and everyseat taken, but a second bartender was added and no one waited to order. Breakfast was excellent and a large selection. Best of all coffee was hot. Only negative had to get my own bags to my room. Other than that two thumbs up

Short, 15 min. taxi ride from airport. Also,convenient tram runs frequently right in front of hotel. This tram can take you into the Romer Square area of Frankfurt with historic buildings and cathedrals located near the more modern shopping district. AC was a welcomed relief on a hot, summer day, and breakfast buffet was one of the best I've experienced in Germany. Dinners were fair.
