“A nice modern hotel near the river”

This is a very good choice if you want to be on this side of town, rather than the sleazy area near the train station.
This high-rise hotel is very comfortable and located in a quiet side of Frankfurt and facing the Mein River. The rooms are clean and have nice views of the city. Like Frankfurt in general, this hotel caters to the business traveler and each room offers high speed internet, but hope you have a business account, because you’ll have to pay $ 18 per day to access the high speed line. The suites include marble clad bathrooms with many amenities. Each room comes with flat screen TV, (all in German), fridge bar, coffee maker, and other little touches such as windows that actually open to get fresh air, (unheard of in Las Vegas).
The staff is helpful, but not what I’d describe as warm. Breakfast is nice, like in most German hotels, offering a wide array of choices to choose from.
The hotel is located steps away from a late night Spanish tapas bar called Leon Garcias, and a cool Italian fusion restaurant called Biancalani Cucina. In the vicinity is the Sachsenhausen district, where you’ll find plenty of bars, pubs, beer houses and restaurants serving traditional fare. It is a bit cheesy, but if you like that sort of thing…

“Stunning views”

We spent a weekend in Frankfurt and because of the good deal they offered, we decided to stay at the Lindner Plaza. It is situated at the southern bankline of the Main river.

The check in was fast, efficient and friendly. The elevator can only be used with a card.

The room was actually a suite with an elegant seating area, a small diningplace and a kitchenette with minibar. The room was designed in warm colors. The bed was of kingsize and cosy. The extra pillows I've been asking for at the reservation were on their places.

The staff were very friendly, efficient and catering our every need.

We had breakfast at the restaurant The Brick, which was included by the roomrate. Also we joined the place for lunch and dinner, as we were more than satisfied with both, food and service.

We only had to pay 118 Euro per night for the first class room at a special offer for the weekend. The late check out (at 6 p.m.) only 40 Euro extra.

And best of all: the spectacular views of the frankfirt skyline. I will not forget this place for a long time.

“Nice Hotel but poor air conditioning”

Lindner Main Plaza

The hotel itself is very nice with only a few rooms per floor (20+ floors). One drawback is that the air conditioning is really a fan even though a thermostat is in the room. The staff indicated that they do not have "American-style" air conditioning - this could be a problem in the hot months.

The room is very well decorated with modern furnishings and clean. Soundproofing is above average, although with the windows open you may hear traffic or trains on nearby bridges. The bathroom is above average size with marble tiles. Windows are very large. A nice plus is the kitchen in the room - a fridge, stove, microwave, utensils, etc. are provided. Elevators require a key card.

The hotel is located right on the river, but a kilometer or so from downtown (across the bridge). Service was generally good. I didn't use the spa, but it looked nice. A grocery store and a couple of restaurants are within a 1-2 minute walk from the hotel.

I would stay here again, but not in the hotter months.

“The best one in town”

Lindner Main Plaza

I stayed at Main Plaza 38 times in 2004 and about 20 times in 2003! Before I tried other Frankfurt hotels like Steigenberger, Maritim, Frankfurter Hof etc. but Main Plaza is the best:
1. Friendly staff
Management has changed, but staff always friendly and helpful
2. Great room
New Design furniture, very large room, everything very expensive
3. Impressive bulding
Directly at the river Main. Round architecture with more than 15 floors.
4. Located near Sachsenhausen (Restaurants, Bars, Pubs).

“really good”

Although a bit from the centre, but you can walk beautifully besides the mainz towards the centre! The Hotel is new and very modern. The rooms are really spacious. We had rooms on high floors so the view was al over Frankfurt. The rooms are very complete, even a kitchenette! Very nice bathroom, magazines are as well in the room. An Highclass hotel, but a little bit expensive when not in low season. We also enjoyed the pool, sauna, and stuff. It was inclusive of the price.
The location of the hotel is near the river Mainz and the stroll along that is very nice and will bring you in no time in the centre of Frankfurt.
I surely recommend it. Mind the prices of the hotel parking and the price of breakfast!
