This is a very good choice if you want to be on this side of town, rather than the sleazy area near the train station.
This high-rise hotel is very comfortable and located in a quiet side of Frankfurt and facing the Mein River. The rooms are clean and have nice views of the city. Like Frankfurt in general, this hotel caters to the business traveler and each room offers high speed internet, but hope you have a business account, because you’ll have to pay $ 18 per day to access the high speed line. The suites include marble clad bathrooms with many amenities. Each room comes with flat screen TV, (all in German), fridge bar, coffee maker, and other little touches such as windows that actually open to get fresh air, (unheard of in Las Vegas).
The staff is helpful, but not what I’d describe as warm. Breakfast is nice, like in most German hotels, offering a wide array of choices to choose from.
The hotel is located steps away from a late night Spanish tapas bar called Leon Garcias, and a cool Italian fusion restaurant called Biancalani Cucina. In the vicinity is the Sachsenhausen district, where you’ll find plenty of bars, pubs, beer houses and restaurants serving traditional fare. It is a bit cheesy, but if you like that sort of thing…
