The Golden Tulip hotel is about 30 minutes from Frankfurt in the old leather manufacturing east side of Frankfurt.

Do not sleep on the lower floors of the hotel, otherwise you will
lie awake all night listening to bands practice in the record company opposite before being woken by the daily rubbish colection at 4.30am.

Otherwise its great!

Interesting clean, friendly and efficient business hotel right in the heart of the commercial area - not much use for a holiday but very convenient of you are visiting of the large companies who operate in the area.

Some rooms have a nice view of the river and the rooms, whilst being basic, are large, clean and well equipped.

The internet facilities leave something to be desired - connectivity is not good.

The hotel also appears to be the home of the Frankfurt American Football team and here are always a lot of very large men around - took me a while to figure out why so many big guys were running about the place.

Ther is a small restaurant on the ground floor where the food is an awfuly lot better than you would expect - try it!!

When we arrived staff were very friendly and helpful in directing us to the right places. Breakfast was amazing, good for the morning after! Hotel has wonderful views if you are on the right side! Pool and sauna are also a nice relaxing. As this hotel is not in central frankfurt cab ride is chaep and train station is not far. (10-12 mins walk). The only thing that the Hotel could have done better is had AC in its rooms, as we were there in the summer it was extremely hot! Otherwise a wonderful hotel. 8/10!

Some of the staff at Golden Tulip are exceptionally friendly and very helpful. The rooms are average size and have a balcony view. Cleanliness is also average. The breakfast is a great deal. Rooms are not handicapp accessible, as with the elevator buttons. This hotel is ideal for business travelers, with basic expectations.
