The hotel is located right by the seaside, separated only by a road from the beach. Most rooms (they all have balconies or a terrace) face the side instead of the front, but you have a fine sea view from the balcony, and even from your bed - via the big mirror over the desk!
The room was rather small, but that was really the only drawback. The hotel opened in 2005 (new building), so everything was still new and the technical standard far above average: a DVD player (DVDs to borrow at reception), free Internet (connection via phone), air conditioning, free "energized" water. We did not visit the wellness area (sauna, infrared cabin), since we were lucky enough to use the one at nearby Hotel Huebner, which includes a pool with beach view and steam room.
Service was nice, although they could not tell us how to connect the digital camera to the TV. We found out by ourselves in the end! Good breakfast, I have had more choice in some hotels, but it was really quite sufficient. All in all we had a really nice stay, but if you want something even nicer you might consider Hotel Huebner ...
