Global agent cumbria, reasonable 4 star, as long as rooms not facing really busy road, re/furb rooms nice and airy, large balcony limited uk channels, seemed to be mostly german and spanish guests, nice grounds, small chapel in enclosed courtyard was nice, small heated pool, large unheated, restaurant bit small if full, 2 sittings for dinner loads of offers on this hotel because its south of puerto banus, so hefty taxi bill, no problem for hire car guests, although you exit from busy road, 5 minute walk to beach 15 minutes to puerto banus, good base to visit, gibralter , rhonda, marbella, entertainment on evening but seemed to be very stars on 45 type of music,
casino opposite at h10 hotel,
nice hotel for maybe more experieced traveller

“really 4 stars”

It was the first time that we stay in puerto banus, in the other two past years we stay in benalmadena, and puerto banus its better than the latter. In general the hotel its very good. When we arrived we were a litle desaiponted because the hotel its near the road, but when we entered at the resort we became very excited. The gardens are very large and beautiful, with two pools, at the time only one was open but it was very large. Sun beds are always avaiable and there a lot of places at choice and peacful to. There is a pool for children also. We staied at a bedrrom without balcon, but it was nice, not to large not small the enough, always clean every day. The arquitecture of the hotel its andalucia type very beatiful, with gardens around. Our bedroom was at midle of the hotel, very quiet, but be aware that the bedrooms close to road may not be so quiet. Our friends stayed at a bedroom with balcon, this bedrrom type as two bed, and a sofa and was larger than our bedroom. There are two beachs near this hotel, one its bad but the other at more 100 meters its very nice, it has a 5 five star hotel at the front, with restaurants and bars that have music all day, and sport facilities. What we really loved was the food: the breakfast and the dinner had a lot of variety, always different every day, we never repeted a meal. The personal staff were very nice, at the restaurante we asked for a baby soap and they made at the dinner time in all days a different soap for our baby. There is a bar for non smokers and a special place for smokers. In the bar they serve coktails and there was adifferent singer every night.
I think that this hotel its a caribean type (we know we were at R.Dominican).
We walked to Marina of Puerto Banus in 15 minutes, by the beach its very pleasant, we recommend. At Marina its a lot of bras and entertainment for young people.
Go there you will have a nice stay.

Used trip advisor for the first time, stayed at this hotel for seven days and could not have had a better holiday.
Rooms away from main road exellent clean large with a good balcony restaurant food and service first class so much to choose from.
Staff could not be anymore helpfull including service in bars and restaurant assistant manager introduced himself to every party individualy at dinner to address any concerns or problems
Good location 15 min walk along the beach to porto banus stop at pedro's bar along the way fantastic spot and exellent for lunch or just a drink
Will definatly return to this hotel soon.

“Couldn't ask for more!”

Hotel Rincon Andaluz

Just back from an Easter break at the Riu and have to say couldn't fault it! Where do I start? We had paid to stay in a upgraded garden view room and asked for a double bed. If you get a room with number 700+ you are on to a winner these are by far the best rooms. The bathroom was huge, seperate shower cubicle, full bath, huge marble sink, then dressing area with huge wardrobe into a very large bedroom. The bed was a super super king!! Never seen a bed so huge not even in the states! Very very clean, nice balcony with comfy wicker chairs and view to peaceful courtyard garden. The gardens are very tranquil with birds of paradise, orange and lemon trees. 2 pools are good with loungers, imagine get busy in high season. The restaurant has amazing choice of food. There really isn't anymore food you could ask for, breakfast and dinner were buffets 5 course affairs, even yummy pancakes for breakfast. Don't be put off by the main road it's nicer to walk along the beach into Puerto Banus anyway, we stayed for New Year at the Melia Dynamar at the other end of town another 4 star but this was far better with much nicer staff. Only downside were hard pillows! Worth checking out the flamenco show in the hotel too. bar was resonable for 4star especially compared to Puerto banus bar prices. All in all for £56 a night couldn't of asked for better.

“Lovely hotel”

We really enjoyed our stay in the Riu Roncon Andaluz. Despite being near a busy road, the hotel is very nicely laid out with two nice pools, lots of greenery and lovely rooms. The hotel is well located with a short stroll to the beach and a slightly longer walk to Puerto Banus. We paid for bed and breakfast but was not dissapointed to have missed out on the dinner option. There are far nicer places to eat nearby. We found the food rather bland and mass produced (both breakfast and dinner was buffet style). However, apart from the food, we defintely recommend the hotel and would not hesitate to go back.
