Of all the places my sister and I stayed in Spain, the Abba Parque was the most disappointing (mostly because Mirabel talks it up so much). First the good: It's very clean, fairly impressive, centrally-located (walking distance to the Guggenheim), and the staff is incredibly helpful.
Now the bad: While they do have parking, no one tells you that it's 16 euros a day. Our room was 84.56 euros for the night, which was expensive given the season and the fact that our room directly faced another building. Our room was fairly smoky (but most of our rooms in Spain were) and apparently the Internet cafe that used to be across the street is no longer there (though the hotel does have wi-fi access).
For those willing to pay more, it looked like the executive floors offered a much better experience. For those on a budget, the Abba Parque is a fine place to stay, but I may look around the next time I'm in Bilbao.
